Learning the language of music has been a passion of mine since the ripe old age of 5. Watching my grandfather play the piano sparked an interest in me and this interest and passion has guided my path through life.

I began by learning to play the piano and throughout primary school this developed into clarinet and saxophone. I began studying through the Tamworth Regional Conservatorium of music where I took part in many events, orchestras and concert bands. I was also heavily involved in community musicals and the Tamworth Clarinet Choir. I welcomed with open arms the opportunities offered to me to play in Department of Education band at state and National levels.

Completion of my HSC and entry into a Bachelor of Social Work gave me a new direction, Music Therapy. I have always been interested in music and the positive effect it can have on development and as a therapeutic technique. I have achieved Honors passes in both Grade 8 Piano and Grade 8 Clarinet and am currently studying for my CTMusA (Certificate of Music Teaching) through the AMEB. My goal is to share music with as many people as possible; all ages, all walks of life.
