Kate Harpley

I have lived in Temora my whole life and started learning Guitar in Year 4 at Temora West Public School. I studied Music for my HSC and was also part of a small band and from this learnt so many different skills, not to mention making some great friendships along the way!

Recently I have been playing locally in an acoustic duo with a very talented singer and close friend of mine. It’s so much fun to be performing for people and YRSM are all about showcasing their student’s talents as well!!

I began private guitar lessons in 2010 and I have tutored many students in this time from Primary school aged to adults. I took a short break when I had my daughter in 2017 and I am ecstatic to be back in the music scene!

The best part of what I do is seeing each student make progress every week and be excited about what they are learning, whilst having fun at the same time. Music is a great form of expression and its so nice to be able to guide students through all the different stages of learning the Guitar whilst teaching them what they want to learn.
